In de mediapool staat voor een afbeelding een blauw kruis. In de show vertoont hij geen afwijking. Weet je waar staat dat kruis voor staat en of dat kruis kwaad kan ?

Als je de HELP oproept kun je onder het tabblad 'zoeken' een trefwoord ingeven. Afhankelijk van het gegeven of je een Duitse of een Engelse Help gekozen hebt, typ je hier het trefwoord 'kreuz' (D) of 'cross' (GB) in. Vervolgens krijg je dan een paar pagina's in een lijst te zien waarop dat woord voorkomt.
In mijn Engelse Help komt dan op positie 1 de pagina "Viewing and listening to media files" te staan. Klik ik die dubbel aan dan staat het antwoord op jouw vraag als volgt verwoord:
Blue crosses...signalize that no current display data for audio and video files are available for display in the program window. .... A blue cross will also appear for picture files if the properties of the current file differ from the properties of the file originally used for the project, e.g. when a picture was edited externally.
Yellow crosses ...appear for videos or picture sequences for which usage of intermediate video date is enabled, but which have not been completed yet.
Green crosses ...appear only for video files for which no display data are available and for which automatic creation of display data is disabled. See Differentiated creation of display data for videos.
Red crosses ...mean that the corresponding media files are missing. In this case you should have the program search for it. See Searching for missing files.
Prohibition signs ...indicate that the video cannot be played. This may be due to the fact that creation of intermediate video data has been initiated but they have not been completed yet or that no suitable codec has been selected. In such a case check in the video properties whether a different codec can be selected. See Video Properties.
Kortom, bij blauwe kruizen geeft Wings Platinum aan dat een mogelijke bewerking van de afbeelding nog niet is verwerkt in de grafische data die Wings bij weergave gebruikt. Je lost het het snelst op door in de taakbalk bovenin de button 'Grafische bestanden maken' 2 x te activeren. Maar je weet nu ook waardoor die kruisjes daar komen.
